Rented.com is the leading global online marketplace connecting owners of second homes and investment properties with professional rental managers for those properties. In the rapidly growing sharing economy and vacation rental space ($170 Billion industry), Rented.com provides the “wholesale” market that feeds the inventory consumers see on “retail” markets such as Airbnb and VRBO.
As Rented.com’s Partner Success Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Rented.com’s Rented Capital product is incorporated as an impactful part of our Partners’ growth strategies. Our partners are vacation rental management companies throughout the US and global markets and homeowners who have second homes that they rent as vacation homes in those markets. At Rented.com, our goal is to ensure that all parties are better off every time we enter into an agreement. Given our commitment to this goal, it is important to have people in this role who operate with a high degree of integrity and passion for helping our partners optimize their businesses and property performance. While sales is an important part of this role, relationship building is a critical aspect of the role as well to ensure that we help our partners grow in the right way. The biggest part of the role is maintaining a strong relationship with the client and becoming deeply engrossed in their business to ensure that we understand how we can best support them.
New Partner Acquisition Strategy & Execution
You will be responsible for growing Rented.com in a given territory that you live in and developing a deep knowledge of the vacation rental industry in that region. You will have support from the entire team and the ability to generate new ideas that we can test in your region. Primarily your role will be focused on finding the top performing vacation rental managers in your market from both an income and quality of service perspective and pairing them with owners and vacation homes that match their growth strategy. This will include many different methods of customer acquisition including outbound sales, industry conference attendance, email marketing, digital marketing and building referral networks and programs.
Partner Engagement and Optimization
New Partner engagement is just the start of your role as the bulk of your time will be spent working closely with our property manager partners to help them integrate the Rented Capital product into their growth strategy including helping them identify their target market, developing strategies to attract their target customers and developing a consistent deal flow with them. Once we will help them find additional owner partners, our goal is to ensure that they are optimizing the performance of those properties to keep the owners happy and ensure a high rate of partner satisfaction and retention.
Assisting Partners with implementing industry best practices
Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to create industry best practice consultative services that will help our partners improve various aspects of their business from growth strategy to yield management to operations management. This will require collaboration with industry experts from various fields that have existing relationships with Rented.com and new partners that emerge in the industry.
Partner Account Management
While you will receive support from the rest of the Rented.com team, you will be the primary contact for our vacation rental manager partners and many of our owner partners so you will get to maintain a strong relationship with those partners to ensure that they continue to stay engaged with Rented.com and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their feedback and needs are considering as part of our process and product improvement.
We have a great product that we strongly believe in so the primary focus is to execute against putting that product into the hands of the partners that are the best fit to work with us. Beyond that, we realize that there is always room for improvement and everyone at Rented.com has an opportunity to bring new and fresh ideas and help test and implement them so long as they are consistent with our company values.
QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE DESIRED
1+ years experience with relationship based sales
1+ years experience with ongoing relationship management
Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce (preferred), Hubspot or another comparable product
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong tech user skills and adaptability to new technology including familiarity with Google for Business products, Slack, Trello, Microsoft Office Salesforce, and common workplace software
Fluency in multiple languages a plus but not required
Location: 25%-50% travel time required as part of the role primarily regional travel within your market. Position may be based in any major US city or vacation rental market.

Salary: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year with unlimited bonus potential
